His sister and main assistant, Macacha Güemes, arrives to see him. The conversation on his deathbed ranges from recrimination to justifications, from tears to jokes, and from politics to childhood memories. It is an intimate look at the death of a man, and the love of a sister.

In the future, apocalyptic floods will affect Planet Earth. According to a scientist, this is due to the influence of the Moon on the Earth.
